Privacy Policy — VisaKapatid

This privacy policy applies specifically to VisaKapatid by Future @I LLC. It supplements our universal privacy policy, which governs all Future @I Philippines applications.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account information (email, display name, optional phone)
• Visa and immigration document metadata (type, expiry dates, destination country)
• Document scans and photos (passport, work permit, contract) — stored locally on-device by default
• Family contact names and relationships
• Messages you send or receive within VisaKapatid family chat

Information Collected Automatically

• Device information (model, Android version)
• App usage analytics
• Error logs and crash reports

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Contact lists or phone book data
• SMS or external call logs
• Photos outside the app (unless you explicitly attach them)
• Precise location

2. Sensitive Document Handling

VisaKapatid is designed for OFW users handling sensitive immigration documents. By default, document scans are stored locally on your device using AES-256 encryption and NEVER uploaded to our servers. If you choose to enable family sharing, encrypted document references (not the documents themselves) are synced through Future @I servers over TLS 1.3.

3. Family Communication

Messages between family members are end-to-end encrypted. Future @I cannot read the contents of your family chats. Message metadata (sender, timestamp) is retained for 30 days for delivery reliability.
