Terms of Service — VisaKapatid

These terms apply specifically to VisaKapatid and supplement our universal Terms of Service.

1. App Purpose

VisaKapatid is a personal visa, document, and family communication organizer for OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) and their families. VisaKapatid is NOT an immigration consultancy, NOT a visa application service, and does NOT provide legal advice.

2. Document Storage

Documents you store in VisaKapatid (passports, work permits, contracts) are encrypted on-device. Losing access to your device may make these documents permanently unrecoverable unless you have enabled encrypted cloud backup. We do NOT have the ability to decrypt your documents on your behalf.

3. Immigration Deadlines

VisaKapatid provides deadline reminders for visas, permits, and contracts based on the dates you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of entered dates and for taking timely action. VisaKapatid is not liable for missed deadlines.

4. Family Chat

Family chat is end-to-end encrypted. You may not use VisaKapatid to send illegal content, harass others, or conduct any activity prohibited under the universal Terms of Service.

5. AI Features

AI-powered suggestions (document checklists, deadline reminders, translation assistance) are informational only. Always confirm visa and immigration requirements with official sources (POEA, DMW, embassy, destination country immigration).

6. Payments and Refunds

Subscription payments are processed by GCash, Maya, or Google Play Billing. Refunds follow the payment provider's refund policy.

All other terms from our universal Terms of Service apply in full.
